Reading is the best way to creatively grow as a kids leader.

In my 17 years in kids ministry (and 12 years full time) at Hope Church Singapore, books have become some of my greatest friends. OK, I sound like I have questionable standards for friendship. Books were with me in the highest of the high and the lowest of the low times. Yes, I read in good times, I still read when I’m depressed. And it always did it for me and got me out of the rut so many times. While it may work differently for different people, I can put my money on it that it’ll do the same for you.

While there are so many (I repeat so many) books that have made significant impact on me and my leadership, these listed below are those that came to mind at the point of writing. Some is what I’ve read years ago and that is saying a lot of its influence in my life. So here they are.
